Nyons black olives and Nyons oil

Head out on the Olive Tree Route in the Baronnies and discover the local expertise of cultivating the local black pearl: the Nyons black olive, and making olive oil. Take a stroll in Buis-les-Baronnies or Mirabel-aux-Baronnies… you'll hear the cicadas singing amidst the olive groves.

The truffle of Drôme

Another must-try specialty in our region: the Drôme black truffle. Melanosporum is a black diamond that enhances every dish with its woody aroma and powerful flavor.

It is harvested in Tricastin, France's leading truffle-growing region, in 68 communes of the Drôme and 15 communes of the Enclave des Papes during the winter season.

Not to be missed: a visit to the Maison de la Truffe and Tricastin.

Le nougat de Montélimar

When you think of Montélimar, you automatically think of its nougat. You won't be able to leave without visiting one of the many nougat factories in the Montélimar area. They will tell you its history: from the time when it was sold at auction along the N7, renowned for its traffic jams, to today, where the secrets of its recipe are religiously guarded. Come discover this Drôme expertise and enjoy!
